Kade loves to sing, and he is learning new songs everyday! He's really good at singing Jesus Loves Me, so I wanted to capture it on video. But of course when I pulled out the camera he couldn't sit still! He started out pretty good but then was pretty wiggly. So I'll have to try again soon. But I thought his song was still pretty cute!

Children's Museum
Today my mom took Kade and me to the Jasmine Moran Children's Museum in Seminole. We had never been there before, and it was a lot of fun! Kade loved it so much and has continued to ask to go back numerous times. His very favorite thing was riding the yellow train that went around their grounds. I bet no one could have guessed that, since trains are his favorite thing! We got to the museum about 12:45 and stayed until around 4:30. Kade didn't want to leave, but we were all worn out! We are already planning to go back again. I would highly recommend visiting the museum if you have not before.
Here Kade is flying an airplane. It had controls where he could make himself go up and down in the plane.
Here Kade is in the cockpit of a real airplane. He thought it was neat to steer and push all the buttons.
Mommy & Kade driving the Model T car. I asked Kade if he was going to take me for a ride, and he said, "It's not real, Mom." They learn so fast!
Sliding at the fire station. There was a fire pole, but he was a little small for that. He'd rather go down the slide anyway! This was also one of his favorites.
Kade at school. He enjoyed drawing on the chalkboard and told me he was drawing the sun. It was round and even had rays! I was impressed.

Family Night
Tonight we had family night! We decided to take Kade to Honor Heights Park to play at the splash pad. He played in the water, but mostly enjoyed sliding and swinging. We also got to see lots of ducks and geese. After leaving the park, we picked up some dinner and headed home to watch a movie. We decided on Horton Hears A Who. It was really cute, and Kade sat still through most of the movie! And of course we had popcorn. That's one of Kade's favorite foods. It was a nice fun filled evening!

To The Splash Pad
Kade and Martin are good buddies! So sweet!
Kade and I had fun today at the splash pad. We met my friend Rachael and her son Martin, and my friend Noel and her daughters Araya and Kaya. Kade played and played in the water. Then we stopped to eat our picnic lunch, and the kids went back to playing in the water again. When it was time to go Kade said, "I had fun Momma." That makes it all worth it!

22 Week Checkup
I had a checkup today. Everything went really well. I got the results from my ultrasound and blood work from last time. Dr. Stout told me that everything they saw from the ultrasound looked good, and all the blood work was normal. The blood test was to check Kolt for Down's Syndrome and two other diseases. So he seems to be very healthy! I have gained a total of 14 pounds now. I gained 7 pounds in the first 18 weeks and 7 more pounds in the last 4 weeks! Kolt must be hitting a growth spurt! I got to hear his heart beat again. It was in the 130's, just as I expected. Kolt has been very active in the past few weeks. He is always moving and kicking, especially at night time. I think he's on the same schedule Kade was, sleeping all day and up all night. Hope that changes when he's born! :) (Not counting on it). Jake finally felt him moving last week! I go back in 4 weeks for my next checkup, which includes the one hour diabetes test. I am 21 weeks and 6 days pregnant today.

Water Boy
Today we went to my cousin Drew's birthday party. He had a pool party, so Kade got to swim again. He has been a little water shy recently, because he's scared to get water in his eyes and nose. But today Daddy and Bubba were able to get him to come all the way into the pool. He usually just likes to sit on the steps. Daddy even got him to swim by himself a little with his floaties!

Happy 4th of July
Me at 21 weeks and 1 day pregnant
Today we had a very happy 4th filled with fun and family. Kade spent the night with his grandparents last night, so Jake and I started celebrating early with a date night. We had a lot of fun! Then this morning my brother came over and Jake cooked breakfast for us! For the afternoon, we ate lunch with my parents then came home for Kade to take a nap. This evening Jake's nephews were in from Nebraska, so we got to visit with them for a while. When it got dark, we decided to shoot off some fireworks in our front yard for Kade. Last year he was deathly afraid and wouldn't even go outside. So we were hoping this year would be better. Well we got him outside, but he kept his ears covered, made me cover his ears too, and cried the whole time. He kept saying, "No Daddy, I done. No more fireworks! Cover my ears Mom. I scared. I go inside." We ended up getting them shot off, but Kade absolutely hated it. He loved the daytime ones, the poppers, snakes, and smoke bombs. I guess we'll try again next year!
