Messy Eater / Messy Feeder

This is what happens when Dad feeds Kade! They had food everywhere. I'm glad that I had taken Kade's clothes off before he ate. He definitely had to have a bath after this meal!

Little Piglet

Kade is such a little begger now! Anytime Jake or I have food, Kade is right there wanting some of it. Here he was getting chocolate ice cream from Daddy.

Look At Me

Kade has learned how to reach doorknobs now. He can't open them yet, but I'm sure it won't be long until he figures that out too!

Cheese!

Kade is such the little cheeser! He likes to crinkle up his nose and grin really big. It is so cute!

Nicholas & Kade

Today I took Kade and his cousin, Nicholas, to the water park. They had so much fun! Nicholas just loves Kade.
Nicholas even got Kade to take a picture with his sunglasses on. He wanted Kade to wear his sunglasses, and I told him he could try to put them on him, but that Kade always pulled them off the second you got them on his face. Nicholas told me that he could do it. He just needed to get Kade's mind on something else. So he gave Kade one of his toys, and sure enough, he posed for a picture!

Crazy Hair

Check out this hair! This is how Kade's hair looked when he woke up from his nap today. I just couldn't resist taking some pictures of him.
Silly little boy! He's always got that tongue sticking out.

New Teeth

Kade has gotten two more new teeth. He got his next bottom tooth on the right side Friday the 13th and his next bottom tooth on the left today. Once he got his first tooth, they have been coming so fast. In 6 weeks, he has gotten all 6 of his teeth! You can see them pretty good in these pictures.

9 Month Checkup

Today was Kade's 9 month checkup. He now weighs 22 lbs. 15 oz. and is 29 1/4 in. long. He is in the 95th percentile. That means he is bigger than 95% of the kids his age! His checkup went just fine. He is perfect in every way! No shots today. I was glad. He'll go back again at 1 year.

First Trip To Church Camp

We took Kade out to Burnt Cabin for the first time tonight. We went out for the Wednesday night service. Kade had a great time playing in the rocks. All he wanted to do was get down and try to eat them! We had to keep his pacifier in his mouth to keep the rocks out. I'm sure he will really have fun next year when he can run around all over the place!

Kade Loves Music

Jake & I like to play music for Kade and dance with him. He really loves it! Here's a picture of Daddy and Kade right after we had been singing to him.

Yesterday we took Kade on his first swim at the water park. He loved the water! He just kept splashing the whole time. I wish I had a picture of him swimming, but I didn't want to get my camera wet. Hopefully I'll get him swimming soon!

First Trip To The Zoo

Today Jake and I took Kade to the zoo for the first time. He had a lot of fun! He really liked looking at all the animals. His two favorite things were the fish and the snake that was eating a mouse. He's all boy! It was so hot today that we only stayed for 2 1/2 hours. But we managed to see a lot of animals in that time. Maybe we can go back when it cools down a bit.

Happy 4th of July

For Kade's first 4th of July Jake, Kade, and I went to a cookout with Jake's family at his dad's boat club for lunch. Kade's favorite thing was the homemade ice cream. Mine too! He ate his Grandma Carolyn's banana ice cream. We couldn't go out on the boat though because with all the rain, the walkways to the docks were flooded. Then we went to church, and after church we had ice cream and desserts. Kade had homemade butterfinger ice cream this time. Then we watched a fireworks show from our church parking lot. Kade really liked the fireworks! He wasn't scared at all.

Mommy's Little Helper

Here is Kade trying to help me with the laundry and dusting. He wanted in the laundry basket so bad, so Jake put him in there. Look how good he is standing up!
He really had fun playing with the duster!

Teeth Again

Both of Kade's top teeth have broken through the skin. So now he has 4 teeth! 3 weeks ago he didn't have any. New things are happening so fast!

Look What I Can Do

Here is Kade pulling up on our TV stand. He did it all by himself! He is starting to let go with one hand while only holding on with the other. He is getting so brave!

Faux Hawk

Kade had his first faux hawk hair do. Kade & I went to watch Daddy play basketball tonight, and this is what Uncle Bryan and Adam did to Kade's hair. The worst part is that they used the sweat off their heads to make Kade's hair stick up! Dad thought it was great.

Quality Time With Dad

Here Daddy was reading Kade a story before bed. Kade likes us to read him stories.
Here he is wearing Dad's hat and sticking his tongue out like Daddy too. Jake definitely passed that quality on to Kade. When Jake is thinking hard, he will stick his tongue out and not realize it. Kade is already doing that!
