Trick-Or-Treat

We took Kade trick-or-treating again this year. We had a lot of fun! The weather was much nicer this year. We went with our friends Chad & Noel and their daughters Araya & Kaya. Kade's favorite things he got while trick-or-treating were his animal crackers and new glasses that you see in these pictures!

First Walking Accident

Kade has his first accident while walking today. He was playing around our t.v. stand with his big firetruck and tripped. He fell right into the t.v. stand and hit his cheek. It even started bleeding and bruised immediately, not to mention the whelp too. I had to console him for a few minutes, and then he was ready to get back down and go again. I'm sure this is just the first of many.

Mall-O-Ween

This year we took Kade to the Mall-O-Ween. We had fun looking at all the kids in their costumes and checking out all the games. Kade was a little small this year, but we still helped him play a few games. I know he will really enjoy it next year. We will definitely go back! Check out the picture of Kade covering his ears. This is his newest thing. With the slightest noise, he has started covering his ears and thinks it's funny. In this picture we were driving home from the Mall-O-Ween, and Daddy was singing. I guess Kade didn't want to hear him or something!

Kade's 1st Costume Party

This evening we took Kade to his first costume party at our friends Joel & Teresa's house. He seemed to have fun and didn't mind wearing his costume too much. We weren't sure if he'd like it or not with the shark teeth coming over his head. But it was alright!
We were so excited for Kade to wear his costume this year! I just loved it! We couldn't pass by him being a shark.

Kade is Walking

Kade started walking today. He has been taking steps for a while, but he would never let go of the furniture. And this evening he finally decided that he'd just take off across the living room. It is so weird to see him walking after all this time of him just crawling! Now he's definitely a big boy and not a little baby anymore. :( Tonight we had so much fun with him. Jake got on one side of the living room, and I got on the other, and we just had Kade walk back and forth between us. He would just laugh! Also his new height and weight were taken right after his birthday on October 4. He weighed 23 lbs. 13 oz. and was 31 inches long.

Kade Giving Kisses

Here Kade was giving Mommy kisses. I taught him how to give kisses one night about 2 months ago but just hadn't gotten any pictures of him doing it until now. All you have to say is "Give Mommy a kiss" and he opens his mouth and leans toward you. I just love his kisses!

Kade's New Ball Pit

Here Kade is playing in his new ball pit that Daddy & Mommy got him for his birthday. He has so much fun playing in it!
Daddy & Uncle Bryan were trying to bury Kade underneath all the balls.
Kade and Uncle Bryan like to play in the ball pit together. Kade just cracks up when Bryan gets in the balls with him.
