Kade has RSV

Every one has been sick at our house lately. First, I had a stomach virus. Then Kade got it. Then Jake and Bryan both got it too. Finally every one seemed to be okay, and Kade was well for only 2 days. Then he started getting a cough. We just thought it was the typical cough, but it got worse by Tuesday. So, Jake took him to the doctor, and we found out he had RSV. They wanted to keep him in the hospital, but since we bought the breathing machine, they let him come home. He was just coughing all the time and having a hard time sleeping. They put him on medication, and we had to do breathing treatments every 4 hours, even during the night. I took him back to the doctor today for a checkup, and everything seems to be getting back to normal. His doctor said to continue with the breathing treatments until he is completely well, but he said that Kade no longer has any junk in his lungs. So we are thankful for that! He is almost himself again. He is 16 months old now and weighs 26 lbs. 3 oz. He is 31 1/4 inches long.
